METALING was established in 1994 to produce machine components for the German company Brückner Maschinenbau. The company started from scratch, in one garage and with one rented working machine. Since we mastered the technology for producing complicated components right from the beginning, we received a request from Germany to expand our capacities.

Today, Brückner Maschinenbau considers METALING as one of its strategic suppliers. Most of our manufacturing capacity is dedicated to our German partner. The company has gradually grown and, today, it is headquartered in a reconstructed production hall, it has 44 employees, and our machinery includes not only conventional machines, but also 13, mostly horizontal, CNC machining centres. The machinery is continuously modernised, and older machines are replaced by new ones.

METALING has a special focus placed on machining precision castings for which it is essential to have a design of suitable clamping fixtures. We utilise our own design, construction, and production of these fixtures.

The production focus can be characterised as precision cutting and universal machining of a small and medium-sized series of machine components. METALING does not offer a particular final product. All products are custom-made.

With high quality and precision manufacturing comes also a well-equipped test centre, which includes a 3D CNC measuring device. Quality control comprises two stages. We check products at the machines, and another check is performed independently by the technical control department. The dimensions of products are recorded according to the customer’s individual requirements.

Structure of the employees: There are three administrative employees, a director, a secretary, and a planner. The administration of production: Production manager, technologist, foreman, and control manager. Other employees include machine operators and programmers, and support staff for finishing and assembly.

In 2003, the company obtained certification of quality management ISO 9001.
